Why Should I Want to be certified and sealed?

A League of Allies Certification and Seal of Inclusion essentially means "We have the courage to be on the leading edge of equality and inclusion."

Certification and Seals can help you in four primary ways:

 1. Brand/Positioning: Do you market your product or service to women or other diverse communities, who make 85% of the buying decisions in the U.S.? And were you aware that by 2020, women will control over 50% of the wealth, $13 trillion, in the U.S.? Additionally, 70% of women and 93% of Millenials prefer to purchase and invest in sustainable and ethical products. Being Certified and having a Seal of Inclusion on your packaging, collateral, and digital presences will unquestionably set you apart in the minds of these key customers. In a B2B/supply chain context, doing business with Certified firms will underscore the movement to sustainable and ethical returns, as pronounced by Larry Fink, CEO of Blackrock ($6 trillion AUM)

2. Talent Acquisition: Diverse communities, including women, are in demand! Being Certified with a Seal of Inclusion will telegraph to the talent markets this business is trying its best to foster an environment of belonging and values, which are very important considerations for these communities, and 64% of Millennials

3. Amplifying Your Human Capital: Earning a Seal of Inclusion can increase the OPEX impacts of engagement/belonging: productivity/innovation increases, and training, talent acquisition, and health care cost reductions

4. Valuation: Progressive investors will understand your firm isn't just "pinkwashing;" it is the real deal and they should apply lower risk discounts against its future growth and profitability projections

How Do We get certified and Earn a seal?

Your Helix score determines possible Certification and a Seal of Inclusion. The respective metal level is determined by how well your company scores against the total number of possible points based on the particular Helix, and your firm’s internal dynamics. Note: your company does not need to apply for Certification and a Seal as part of a Helix review. Certifications and Seals are good for three years.

What gives the Certification and seals credibility?

First, they are difficult to earn, much like a "B Corp" status.

Helix inputs draw on both operating and investor-side requirements to provide outputs that can satiate both market’s needs. They have been reviewed and endorsed by the former Chief Human Resources Officer of a Fortune 100 company (235k employees), the Portfolio Manager of a $20B AUM Asset Manager, ESG analysts, Simmons School of Business Leadership, with contributions from the #1 ranked US management thought-leader/professor.
